In the short documentary “The Healing Dreamscapes of Nancy Gershman” – Part 4/ Case Study of Chad W –  filmmaker Agnieska Ziemacka-Masters studies the work of digital artist Nancy Gershman.

The film describes Gershman’s methodology for healing emotional pain (e.g. loss, regrets, and ruptured relationships) – essentially by digitally repurposing personal photographs into positive visualizations. Ziemacka-Masters is also the director of “Agora,” another artist biopic on the sculptor Magdalena Abakanowicz’s controversial public art project in downtown Chicago.
