Kelsi was terribly homesick as an undergrad, so she commissioned a custom piece of artwork made from her favorite photos. We then printed this photomontage on a photo wristlet which she took with her everywhere on campus.

In the photomontage, Claes Oldenburg’s 1988 sculpture “Spoonbridge and Cherry” (a major landmark in Minneapolis, her hometown) features prominently in the background and also serves as a launch pad for Kelsi’s Teddybear of a dog, Chia.

After just a week of wearing her photo wristlet (made by Bagettes.com), Kelsi wrote me: 

“…the montage you created is an exact replica of all the things I love in life: culture, the sibs and my sugar-booger. The bag is even more goosebump-provoking in real life…”
