James adores his wife Amy in a way that is profoundly liberated. He is incredibly proud of his wife’s dreams and accomplishments, many of which revolve around improving her childrens’ educational environment.
We didn’t have any particular direction for the photomontage until I found out that Amy was instrumental in creating the school logo. Once I saw those collegiate pink sweaters on the girls and yellow sweaters on the boys I knew immediately that the logo would make a terrific crest.
The fascination with all things gummy (teenage Amy’s 80’s necktie and the children’s gum drop hats) came from talking to Jim. Apparently everybody at home knows about Jim’s sweet tooth. As for the photo he chose of himself, he confessed he had a “thing” for paper money when he was younger.
Today he’s a trader.
