Charlie R will watch any sport on TV if there’s no baseball or hockey. But deep down his daughter knows he would have loved to sit in Dodger Stadium’s glass booth calling out the plays for the World Series back in 1955. In this digital legacy photomontage, I had the challenge of building Dodgers Stadium section by section to make it appear that Charlie is looking out from his booth just as the reporters and fans pour out onto the field to congratulate the players. His daughter also wanted to include in this digital photo collage an authentic uniform which would hang in his stadium “office”.
As a life review piece, we added in Charlie from different points in his life, namely as a WWII soldier and vet with his buddies; as a husband in black tie; as a father with his son at the Grand Canyon and as a grandfather holding not one, but two ice cream cones in hand.
